طاق کسری

طاق کسری یکی از آثار تاریخی به جا مانده از حکومت ساسانیان در زمان ایران باستان است که در حال حاضر در کشور عراق قرار دارد. در ساخت این بنا معماران ایرانی از کمترین ابزار و امکانات استفاده کرده‌اند و به همین دلیل امروزه از طاق کسری با عنوان شاهکار مهندسی ایران باستان یاد می‌شود. این بنای تاریخی از برجسته‌ترین نمونه‌های معماری طاق نما در زمان ساسانیان به شمار می‌رود.
