The Jalali Calendar

Omar Khayyam Nishapuri, together with a group of scientists, designed thr Jalali Calendar, which accurately calculates the solar year’s annual cycles. This Calendar was more precise than many of its contemporaries and is the basis for the current solar Hijri Calendar.
