The Museum of Ancient Iran is the oldest, largest and one of the richest museums in Iran. This museum is divided into two parts: ancient Iran and Islamic era. In the ancient Iran section, historical objects from the Paleolithic era to the Sassanid era are exhibited. In the Islamic section, the works of the post-Islam era have been displayed.
