Palace Museum, Baghche Jouk, Mako

The palace, museum, and garden of Jouk Mako is one of the historical monuments of West Azerbaijan province, which dates back to the Qajar period. The construction of the palace museum of Bagche Jouk started at the same time as the Qajar period during the time of Timur Pasha Khan and was completed after 30 years during the time of Iqbal al-Sultaneh. This palace was known as the seat of Sardar Mako’s rule. Interestingly, the name of Baghche Jouk means village in Armenian language.
