Bandar Siraf is a historical city and port in Kangan County, Bushehr Province, in the south of Iran and on the Persian Gulf. In the past, Siraf was one of the Jewish cities of Iran. During the Silk Road trade, this port played a significant role in international trade. Among its historical monuments, we can mention the Nasuri Castle and the ancient monuments of the Jame Mosque (which was built on the foundation of a Sassanid mansion), the ancient market of Siraf and the tombs, and the water supply system of the Sassanid period.
